3 ways to reuse your gin bottles in your bathroom

Are you like me and never want to get rid of pretty gin bottles? If you are then here are 3 really quick way to reuse your gin bottles in your bathroom.

1. Bubble bath/body wash dispenser

What you will need:

  • Screw top gin bottle x1

  • Soap dispenser pump x1

  • Your favourite bubble bath/body wash

  • Decoupage glue and paint brush (optional)

Step 1:

Choose your gin bottle. Make sure it has a screw top so that the pump has something to screw in to.

Step 2:

Fill your gin bottle with your favourite bubble bath/body wash.

Step 3:

Screw on the soap dispenser pump.

Step 4 (optional):

I painted decoupage glue on to the gin bottle label to try and protect it. Decoupage glue is a sealer so i'm hoping it will stop the water ruining the label. However, I cannot confirm if this helps or not as I have only recently done this project which is why I have added it as an optional.

Step 5:

Run yourself a nice bath and enjoy your new soap dispenser.

2. Bath Salt holder

What you'll need:

  • Any type of gin bottle x1

  • Your favourite bath salts

Step 1:

Choose your gin bottle, any bottle will do and give it a clean.

Step 2:

Fill with your favourite bath salts.

Step 3: Run yourself a nice bath and enjoy your bath salt holder.

3. Hand wash dispenser

What you will need:

  • Screw top gin bottle x1

  • Soap dispenser pump x1

  • Hand wash

  • Decoupage glue and paint brush (optional)

Step 1:

Choose your gin bottle. Make sure it has a screw top so that the pump has something to screw in to.

Step 2:

Fill your gin bottle with your hand wash.

Step 3:

Screw on the soap dispenser pump. I used a Bombay Sapphire bottle here and the pump I have isn't as secure on this bottle but it still does the job. I'll just need to be a bit careful.

Step 5:

Place gin bottle next to sink and enjoy.

I hope you have found these tips useful. I would love to know if you give any of these a go. Feel free to tag me on instagram (@projectshobrooke) if you do.
